Furious that her partner abandoned her, Ladybug struggles as she tries to fulfil her duties as heroine without Cat Noir by her side. Her only comfort is found in Adrien as he takes on a new role as Catwalker, but even he can't seem to fill the hole in her heart, and she can't shake the feeling that something is amiss. Will Ladybug find a way to repair the relationship with her former partner, and will she figure out why Catwalker is acting strangely? I began writing it before the trailers were released, and since after I saw them I realized it was going in a very different direction from the actual episode, I decided to go all out an make it my own. Find out in this original story by Christina Cheng 😉💖 (Okay yeah, if you haven't noticed by my three other fanfictions based on Kuro Neko, I had really high hopes for this episode as it had so much potential and I was really disappointed by the lack of impact it had on their relationship and the show in general. Then I realized even if they kept everything else the same, if Ladybug discovered Cat Noir had felt he needed to become someone else - not to mention was capable of fitting all her standards of "perfect" - it would have put so much more meaning behind the episode and influence things in future episodes as opposed to a one-and-done all fixed approach. Also I was really annoyed that they made the focus be on Ladybug not returning his feelings when it should've been, and was really because she kept leaving him out and hiding things from him. I just wished they had a chance to explore this more, but since they didn't, I decided to do it myself. ;) Hope you enjoy! P.s. Fun fact - this was actually based on a dream I had. 😏😂
