Con el tiempo se olvido de Kuroo y de que tenía un compromiso Kenma siempre fue amante de las cosas simples. como los videojuegos o la jardinería pero por ser un príncipe y encima el heredero al trono no se le permitía casi nada, Unos días antes de que Kuroo llegará al Reino de Kenma los padres de este le dijeron de su compromiso algo que Kenma no se lo tomó muy bien que se diga. Se enojó mucho con sus padres diciéndoles que ellos no tenían derecho alguno de decidir por él y entre todo su enojo les dijo que los odiaba Al principio su relación era tensa. silenciosa y con un aire de molestia por parte de Kenma. El único que parecía realmente interesado era Kuroo quien trataba de ir al ritmo de su prometido para no empeorar más las cosas y que trataba llevarse bien con él, Aunque su relación no empezó para nada bien al final terminaron siendo un matrimonio plenamente feliz
