The version of Nightcrawler used in this story will be from X-Men: Apocalypse, which is set in the early 1980's. So this story will be in that same time frame!!!

College is hard enough on it's own but being one of the few mutants on campus doesn't help matters. It also doesn't help that Lorna's biological father is none other than the infamous Magneto, who had just resurfaced with a trail of bodies in his wake. Then again, as Lorna and her half-siblings discover, not all the those bodies are dead.

His cage was always dark and cold but tonight was different, tonight they hung a heat lamp on the ceiling. Kurt didn't know why but he wouldn't complain, it felt nice to see the light again. He may be a kid, but that doesn't mean he didn't know what was going on. Maybe a friend would help him get through this, but then again who would want to be around him?

When Charles sends the X-men out to find a new mutant that he has located, they go to the place he's allocated. They find this mutant who isn't all too willing to go at first. They finally manage to bring her back to the school, they decide to allocate someone to show her around. Kurt volunteers to do this and Charles agrees. But there is someone lurking in the shadows wanting something that is unbeknownst to the X-men. Who is this mysterious person and what does he have to do with the new mutant that they found?
