Hello!! This is my first fanfic ever so please bear with me haha I am still learning and would love some feedback. This is a nightcrawler/kurtwagner x female reader story I have been cooking up in my noggin and I hope someone likes it. Updates will come!! Have a good day :))

Awakened from a thunderstorm outside, a young girl goes to fix her window from opening when lightening strike her window. Unknown to the orphan girl, her lonely and dark life changed forever. This fanfic follows the storyline of X-Men Evolution, I might miss a few or so episodes including what's happening as well. That also includes chapters that don't have a lot of Kurt x OCbut still nice moments!

Kurt Wagner is a normal teenage boy, or at least normal for a circus acrobat. He loves to run, joke with his sister, Amanda, and read. He's a devout Catholic. There's just one tiny detail missing: he's blue. When his demonic looks get him in trouble, he ends up meeting Elizabeth, the broken girl with wings. She no longer believes in God, and if he's real, he doesn't love her. The worst possible circumstances turn them into unlikely friends, but as they grow closer, will their friendship become something more? This is a story about Nightcrawler's past, including how he met the Xmen. I wanted to combine the movies and a few details from the comics, with, of course, a few of my own scenarios and relationships sprinkled in. I DO NOT OWN THE X-MEN

Kurt Wagner has spent his life searching for acceptance and faith in a world that hates and fears him. When a newly elected Pope reveals himself to be anti-mutant, Nightcrawler finds himself drawn into a conspiracy that threatens both mutantkind and the Catholic institution he has devoted his life to serving. Accompanied by a reluctant young mutant and haunted by memories of his monastic past, Kurt must confront questions of faith, identity, and destiny before darkness reaches the Vatican itself. An X-Men novel focused on Nightcrawler, faith, adventure, and mystery.

Hi so if you're reading this, I really want you to know that this is mostly a project I do when I just need to escape my reality for awhile, and cope with the fact that the X-Men aren't actually real. BUT you are still welcome to read, just fair warning: there is probably a typo. Or a couple. Or many, who knows. Also the timeline is kinda hodgepodged together from the various cartoons and comics and movies I've devoured over the years but the actual team of the x-men is a solid mix of teens young adults, and older adults (like wolvie, ofc).

One sister ripped apart by her need for sunlight while the other broods in a darkness while something festers, waiting to be revealed. Helios and Seline, two mutants today apart by what they so desperately need.

Unlike his peers, Kurt's obvious physical mutation was something he was both praised and tormented for. His past is riddled with suffering, but what happens when events force him to reveal himself and tell his story to his friends in order for them to help him heal. Do they understand what it really means to be considered a monster? (I really enjoyed the show Xmen Evolution, but I think there was a missed opportunity for them to delve into Nightcrawler's backstory. This is a slightly darker tone than the show, but how I would go about his origin. Most of the characters are therefore based on this show or if you want to talk generally, Marvel) I'm a novice writer and this is my first story/fanfic I'm releasing so I hope you enjoy and don't mind commenting on my writing if that's what you want to do The cover image is my original artwork, so yeah that to :) (more art on my instagram if you like it and care enough to do so @nitch17sketch)
