He is going to explain and clarify each of his actions, decisions and shortcomings through this retelling. It is at Matsya, when the kauravas attack, that Uttar witnesses the might of Jishnu first hand. So terrible is Arjuna's wrath in battle that Uttar is dazed and astounded as he attempts to keep pace with the speed and force of Arjun's attack.
