Nina Hiiro Konome is an average girl who happens to have affiliations with a criminal gang who are marked as an A Class Bounty. She also has an unknown dead father, who that particular criminal gang killed along with his entire clan. Nina also had a mother, but she died when Nina was seven. After that Nina went on a journey to find her father whom her mother told her about. She stumbles upon Meteor City and decides to take up residence. Nina meets a member of the spiders, Machi, who teaches her how to defend herself. After four years, Nina wants to join the Phantom Troupe, but in order to do that she has to go through twelve dangerous tests. She has completed eleven tests and tries to complete the twelfth, but things don't go exactly as planned... [DISCONTINUED]

Kyujou Kurta is a part of the Three Triads (a group of three strong Shadow pro-Hunters) after his village and friends are killed by the Genei Ryoudan. But then, after a small accident, he met his long time childhood best friend, Kurapika Kurta. (This is MaleXMale! I'd you don't like it, then don't read this!)

Kurapika Kuruta claimed that Kuroro Lucifer was his archenemy, but lo and behold, here he was travelling with that man because of some stupid mistakes they did in a rush of moment - with their lives at 'stakes'.
