Moscow, 1812. Napoleon (Bonaparte) is leading his fatal invasion of Russia. The Germans and the Russians both want to get rid of him. The Tsar has assigned the task to Count Kuryakin. The Germans have chosen the socialite Princess Gaby. But little do they know the Emperor of France has a little namesake by the name of Solo... This short story is written for a good friend of mine, the wonderful Samira Delp. For the past few months, we have been developing characters and the OC's that may or may not go along with them. This particular story involves Napoleon Solo, agent for the U.N.C.L.E. classified services. While what goes on would not happen anywhere except for anywhere but our minds, it's still fun to imagine. Napoleon Solo, Illya Kuryakin and Gaby Teller have just arrived in Istanbul to complete their next mission: to prevent an assassination that could be a catalyst to a world war. Tensions are high as the team attempts to track down the agents and a mysterious sniper. But what will U.N.C.L.E. do that once the assassins have made them their new targets? Based on Guy Ritche's The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Illya fell heavily to his knees, eyes nearly closing with fatigue. "The Frenchman, he had more men than expected. One had shockingly good aim in the dark. I discover this the hard way." Shaking her head, Gaby knelt in front of him, peeling his drenched jacket away from his shoulder. She winced as the bloodstained shirt came into view. "I told you to wear protection." "And you were right, as always, little chop shop girl."....

The KGB agent is insufferable. Kuryakin pokes fun, until Solo has a revelation.
