It's a story about our own favorite couple Arnav Singh Raizada and Kushi Kumari Gupta aka Arshi. It's a story of a guy who is a love "failure". Thus lost interest in marriage and any further interest in girls but had to marry on the insistence of his mother. Though he agreed for the sake of his mother but determined to not give this marriage or that girl any chance in this relationship. Is it fair to punish an innocent who is not at all related to your past or broken heart? What is her crime in this? what Kushi ever wanted was freedom. Through her mother's life, she had come to a conclusion that love didn't make people better. It made people foolish, just like her mother who defended all her husband's actions, however dominating they were. Garima's last gift to her daughter was the school she had built for underprivileged girls, her own quiet way of rebellion against the dominance of her husband. But Shashi used it later to control Kushi's life and to consent to a marriage she didn't want. When she finally entered the Raizada mansion as ASR's bride, she was at once surrounded by secrets, curses and ghost of the past who vowed vengeance.
