Theodore's girlfriend is lost, so he has written her some letters that he cannot send.

Can humans contribute to the eternal conflict between Darkness and Light? In the world of this first-person short piece of fiction, certain humans are selected to participate in direct challenges in the eternal conflict. One individual details a trial she faced in proving her faith and strengthening the side of the Light. Elements of this short story came from a dream I had. Some pieces have been changed, added or omitted to create cohesion and complete the story, but my inspiration came from my subconscious. I may expand upon this at some point; I think there's an opportunity for several short stories in a series.
