After extensive training with high tech shoes, 14 year old Kyle starts to realize that the abilities he has with the shoes are becoming permanent. What he once depended on technology to do, he could do it alone. When you can run at the speed of sound, what else can you do and who else can do it?

Hiccup and the gang, along with their two new friends- Suri and Kylon, the Darkscale- decide to leave Berk, their home, and venture off into the world to discover all new things about it and the dragons that inhabit it. Along the way, they meet new people, dragons, and go on dangerous adventures...! And it all starts with one little dragon running away from Berk.
