{Set after The Last Jedi - skip to chapter 8 if you're not very interested in reylo and want to start with action} A month has passed since Kylo Ren let the Resistance escape. During this time the Resistance have been living in an underground base, training with their new hightech weapon, while the First Order have been hunting them down and threatening to diminish the Republic if they do not come out of hiding. With Supreme Leader Kylo Ren's orders to find Rey and bring her to him, he will then be successful in killing the last jedi and the jedi religion. With the Resistance not being able to leave base and Rey not knowing she has a bounty on her head, will the First Order finally succeed in ruling the galaxy?

Note: you do not have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy this story! There are some references which will make the story more fun for even a casual Star Wars fan, but this story can also stand alone as its own work of fiction (while using Star Wars characters as an easy way to imagine each person). After committing what Kylo Ren only refers to as "The Big Oops", naughty devil/demon Kylo Ren is punished for his bad deeds by God (who also happens to be Leia Organa, his mother). As punishment, Kylo Ren is trapped and bound to a ring which is hidden away on Earth. When someone wears the ring Kylo Ren is bound to serve them, that is if they can force (or convince) him to reveal himself and listen to their wishes. His only chance at escape from his imprisonment is when, according to Leia, the "right person comes along and releases you". Frustrated at his mother's cryptic words regarding his freedom and his ring having ended up at a thrift store at the bottom of a jewelry box for years, Kylo Ren's ring is finally picked up by a gentle and unassuming woman - Rey Dameron. Kylo finds himself instantly attached to this rather average looking woman and is (almost?) excited to be bound to her and to serve her. Will Kylo reveal himself to Rey so that they can get into (hopefully) some trouble together? Will Rey be willing to keep the ring once she realizes the power it holds through Kylo Ren? It's an angsty, slow burn, slow paced ROMANTIC Reylo fanfic, if that's not your thang, okay, but please don't bother me with it. What if in the thrown room Rey said yes? They fall in love and become emperor and empress of the galaxy. Soon they have a daughter named Emmeline. Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker kidnap Emmeline, not wanting to have another dark side user on the other side. Especially one that is both Skywalker and Palpatine. Btw the first order is called "the new empire" in this au.

After Crait, the Resistance is all but decimated. It will take time before they regain the strength and numbers to be anything more than an annoyance to the First Order. In the meanwhile, the Force bond between Rey and the new Supreme Leader not only continues but grows. They begin to be able to see one another's surroundings, touch things... and as the bond grows, so does their relationship. Mutual distrust becomes begrudging acceptance. Then a strange sort of friendship. And then... well... ;) Post TLJ Reylo fanfic; VERY Rey/Ben centric; will focus almost exclusively on times when the bond brings them together; A VERY patient slow burn that devotes a lot of time to character development. COMPLETE.

Kylo needs to find the map somehow, he paces and thinks. And he knows fully well how risky it would be. Little did he know that thoughts would lead to actions. These thoughts were like an infection almost, spreading through his mind. Although this little virus didn't seem all that bad. But one thing leads up to another and soon, there was no turning back.

Why would I bring myself to love such a monster, to actually think of him as a human being? He destroyed so many lives. Heck! He even killed his own father! Why should I care about her, just a lonely scavanger from, where, Jakku? Thinks she can use the force. Because you defeated me in the forest doesn't mean you're capable of defeating the entire First Order. Yet, I still find myself think and having nightmares of her...

Haunted by her nightmares, she sneaks away to find Kylo and figure out what her dreams truly mean.

The darkness runs through Rey and she can feel it. What will she do? Will she follow that path and become the greatest sith that ever lived? Or will she become the greatest Jedi that ever lived?
