Lan loved Zuko, she really did, but she loved freedom more. She loved the idea of traveling across the nations, sinking her feet into the sands of Ember Island, meeting new people from Ba Sing Se, or maybe even helping the world after all the damage she'd seen from the Fire Nation. She wanted more than an arranged marriage. She wanted so much more than just to be the wife of the future Fire Lord. So she left and went around the world, exploring all sorts of places, and meeting all sorts of people until she landed on Kyoshi island. There she met Suki and all the other Kyoshi warriors, even becoming one herself. She finally found a place, a home. Yes, she did love Zuko. No, she would not let it control her future. After all, who could contain such a free-spirited girl? (Everyone is aged up to three years)

When Avatar Kyoshi instructs Atiyf, a 16 year old boy from the Southern Watertribe, to help and fight alongside the Avatar, he finds himself in conflict with an inevitable choice. Choosing between his almost obsessive, empathetic love for Azula and his mission of joining the Gaang and helping them take down the firelord for good.

Humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, they were split into two separate parts, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.

These are basically just some one shots/scenes I wrote based on the Kyoshi books concerning events or dynamics that I wish we could've gotten to explore further in the books. Some examples include Kelsang telling young Kyoshi a bedtime story (it just felt wholesome to me) and Rangi fighting her first Agni Kai while dealing with her mother's expectations. I typically try to write as close to canon as I can, but I also make up some details at times to fill in the gaps. The main characters of each story are included in that story's title in case that helps, and I usually provide a line or two of context at the beginning of each one also. When first traveling to the Earth Kingdom city of Omashu, Aang, Sokka, and Katara encounter the young princess of Omashu, Kyoshi named after the last earth Avatar. Princess Kyoshi was gifted from birth, not with bending but with spiritual knowledge and connections. Although she is an Earthbender she neglected her bending training to dive into learning more about the spirits. Before leaving the Earth Kingdom city team Avatar determined that they can't leave the princess behind, she was a powerful asset. She was the guide for Aang on anything about the spirits.
