I've always loved when Noona would tell me stories to bed. Especially mysteries and crimes. I love theorizing with her, what might've happened, connecting clues with her, it's my absolute favorite. Her voice is always so soothing, it's like a lullaby moms sing to their little ones. "Seungho-yah, have you ever heard of doppelgangers?" she whispered to me as she caresses her hand gently on my forehead. I open my eyes and lace my eyes on her face. I could see something unfamiliar in her eyes: worry. "Yeah, I have, noona. Why do you ask?" Her smile slowly fades. She doesn't answer. "..is there something wrong, Noona?" I ask her again. She shakes her head and smiles. I could tell it's the fake type. The one that screams, "I know something, but you don't have to worry about that." "Now, close your eyes and go to sleep, Seungho. You have to save energy for tomorrow." Nevertheless, I close my eyes. Tomorrow, we'll go and ride under that snowcapped carousel. And that was all that mattered.
