You and your band mates were just practicing when someone barges in and you and your band mates get startled. How y/c is implemented into the story is she is Tamaki's younger sister meaning she would be a first-year in Haruhi's class and the first and only female host (hostess) in the club since the club president is her brother she is allowed. She'd host both girls and boys alike, her type being "the adorable attractive type" since she could switch her personality from being cute to being "hot" in a heartbeat. Her name is rose suoh.
