This is a fanfiction set in the world of the RPG game Tyranny. No knowledge of the game is required to understand it since all relevant lore is explained as part of the story. I hope some people enjoy it. Jasper isn't anything special, he's just a teenager who enjoys RPG games and had run across the game Tyranny. It sparked something in him. The world it created seemed deserving of so much more support than it received. Yes there were flaws and it was overshadowed by Pillars of Eternity, but the concepts resonated with him and almost felt familiar. Then Jasper dies, a tragedy for his family which went unnoticed by the rest of the world, but he found himself in the world of Tyranny, on the path to becoming a Fatebinder. His first lesson, there is so much more to Terratus than was shown in the game. All credit to Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive et al for Tyranny and associated content.
