Kim Ryeowook es un estudiante de gastronomía en la academia St. Rose. Lo que empezó como una pesadilla, terminó como el más hermoso sueño que he podido tener en mi vida. Todo empezó cuando me mudé con mis padres a Seúl, tan solo tenía 8 años y ganas de hacer nuevas amistades, aprendí el idioma y a leer hangul, empecé en un prestigioso y elegante colegio, estaba muy emocionada por iniciar clases y con nuevos amigos, pero... Al llegar al colegio, sentí como todas las miradas caían sobre mí, pero como yo era una alumna nueva, una cara nueva, una EXTRANJERA, no le di mayor importancia y seguí hasta mi salón de clases. Llegué con Nana a mi aula y la profesora me presentó ante mi grupo de clases, y de inmediato pude notar como todos me miraban con aquel asombro, me dije: ¿Acaso soy un extraterrestre?, recuerdo que Nana me dijo: ¡No le des importancia a cosas pequeñas y sé la persona hermosa que eres! Suena el timbre de la hora de descanso y fui a desayunar, intenté unirme a una mesa donde había varias niñas de mi salón, les pregunté si podía comer con ellas y una de ellas respondió de la manera más fría y vil ¡NO ME GUSTAN LAS PERSONAS EXTRAÑAS! Quedé petrificada y me retiré, intenté sentarme en alguna mesa, pero todas estaban ocupadas, no me quedó de otra que salir del comedor y comer sentada cerca de las escaleras y escuchar cualquier comentario despectivo hacia mí. Al llegar a casa, me eché a llorar en los brazos de mi nana y ella solo me decía que fue el primer día, que me diera una oportunidad, pero, esa oportunidad nunca apareció para mí.
