The second installment in the Labeled (A The Selection Fan Fiction) series. Now that Lady Clarissa Dossen has been Selected, she is traveling down a road she never intended to. The sweet and charming Prince Alexander has made it quite clear how much Clarissa means to him, and she believes she returns those feelings. The Selected are a closely wound ball of yarn, unified because of their shared experiences through the ongoing Selection, even if some may wish to never think about those 'experiences' ever again. But every ball of yarn is eventually unwound, and Clarissa struggles to stop the political disorder of the Palace from effecting the seemingly unbreakable relationships the Selected have formed, all while balancing her relationship with Alexander on a rather unstable hand. Clarissa may believe that she has already fought everything standing in the way of her and Alexander, but when the aftermath of a royal disaster makes the Palace erupt in chaos, well, you'll have to read to find out.

There's always that one person that gets undervalued, underestimated and under appreciated. No one ever pays them any attention, they slink into the shadows, not expecting praise or a thank you. They blend into the background not expecting reverence or reward. One day it could be you, it could be your brother, colleague, employee, child or friend. The underdog. One day, just one day, it might be the underdog's day- to step out of the shadows, shine, impress and dazzle. This poem's about why we should never dismiss anyone- everyone has potential :D

Her father was struggling in the infamous italian mob scene, realizing that local police knew his name. Her mother, aging with the stress of keeping to her children and making sure she wouldn't find her husband in the newspapers was making her go mental. The lives of four individuals would become highlighted and labeled as one home, branded as mobsters and runaways, drug addicts, and dealers; to become from what they use to be to a branded home.

It all happened so quickly.

The Selection Fan Fiction "I, Clarissa Dossen, will never be free from the cage of other people's choices." Clarissa Dossen is a 17 year old girl sent to The Fraussen Prestige Institute, a boarding school for the rich and famous kids of Sarroine. Her mom has devoted herself to a lifestyle of the utmost leisure and fame; Clarissa's dad, however, is down to earth and kind. In her young country, Sarroine, everyone is labeled. The Prestige are rich and famous, with the Royalty slightly above. The Elite have the wealth of a prestige, but not the fame, and the Modest barely make ends meet. But greatly looked down upon are the Unlabeled. They are such a disgrace to the country that they are ignored. Clarissa believes that these boundaries shouldn't be in place, and when put in a powerful position, she struggles between loyalty to her family and loyalty to her beliefs. What happens when Clarissa realizes she has been selected for a competition she doesn't want to be in? Will she ever want to be a contender in The Selection? Will Prince Alexander win her heart? Labeled follows Clarissa through a tumultuous and romantic journey of self-discovery and development with all the beauty and pomp of the original Selection. Her world is called Sarrione, which is what King Maxon and Queen America re-named the country after dismantling the caste system which their son hastily put back into place through the Labels. They are the current Prince's grandparents. *the idea of the Selection, inspiration for the plot, and the characters of Queen America and King Maxon are not original, all credit goes to Kiera Cass. However, this particular story and any other characters not present in the Selection Series by Kiera Cass are of my own creation*

FREAK. Feared by all, avoided by all cost. Everyone has a story. A story that would determine two things. Either you're a Freak or not. They call it labeling. Once labeled as a Freak, you're all alone, secluded and hated. No friends nor adults will look at you as a human being anymore. Labeled, Asa Blackwell finds himself amongst a small group of Freaks and struggles to see the light from this dark discrimination, this streak of dark revenge. Most of all, he struggles to let go of the past and make people see him as who he is, not who people think he is. Asa joins upon the labeled who struggles the same path as him, finding their way to plot revenge, to get rid of labeling once and for all, together. Would he accept his fate as a Freak and carry on, or would he deny his fate and leave the group and be exposed to the world of discrimination? But he needs to remember one thing, that no matter what he chooses, there's no denying what people see of him in their eyes. Not that it's on purpose, however. Being labeled as a "Fake Friend" had never happened to Addilyn, until her "Best Friend", Olivia, got sick of her behavior and began acting the same way, even going more towards the "Mean Friend" side.
