Is Capitalism Good? Is Capitalism Evil? These questions had been making rounds in my mind as I researched the state of different countries for my pass time. I chanced upon important information related to America as a country in particular. America is the face of Capitalism, the forefront opposer of communist ideas, and the basher of possibilities of new economic systems. So, America, the USA in particular, must be flourishing right? Nay. America is only flourishing for the minority that the law favours, or the minority that can manipulate the law. There exists a capitalist-favoring system of legal bribery, through which most of the health standards of the citizens are compromised to the extent that they ensure a constant diseased state. Currently, Capitalism reigning over the lives of people and even being more powerful than entire nations should raise concerns. The government being manipulated by these companies might get destroyed without even a finger being pointed at the real perpetrators. The initial phase of Capitalism and Industrialization brought about a great boom in the economy, it led to greater standards and ease of living. All that might sound good but the fact remains that a good economy doesn't always mean a truly good benefit to a country, neither does ease of living. The start of capitalism and industrialization themselves was highly immoral and unethical. Child labor was the norm and safety standards measures were set for the factory owners and not the workers. The story I decided to write focuses on the early days of this curse. Hello, Lolo is a very short story that has been written keeping in mind themes involving Death, Industrialization, Sufferance, and Liberation. Lolo is used to refer to children in some parts of the world and has been deliberately used in order to gain sympathy for all the children instead of a character in particular.
