Knowing that I don't really have another option, I grab onto his arm, finding a foothold at last as he hauls me upwards. I bump into him and his arms snake around my waist, helping me regain my balance. "The word your brain is searching for is 'thank you'," an arrogant smirk forms on his lips. "You wish," I remark, trying to push past him. "Fine, just know you asked for it.
