Consider this a parallel world or an alternate reality to the original, since I based this character 1000% on the blue hedgehog with red shoes. With a couple of things... Enter Cosmia, a beautiful city of the 30th century, forged from the ruins of what was once New York. Under the facade of a paradise lurks something much darker. As a result of overpopulation, once a year, during the Blood Moon, the highest officials in the city select 100 people between the age of 12 and 18 to be culled for the better of the city. To the people, it's considered the greatest of honors to be chosen and sacrifice yourself for the better of the rest. The families of those culled are given large sums of money, food, and have high-up job opportunities offered to them. The people culled are never seen again, or so everyone thought.

I'm Snowflake. I was always bullied growing up, and I learned how to get through. Until now. I had everything I could have wanted, but things began to fall apart. Or is it like a phoenix, falling to ash, only to be reborn anew?

None of these people know each other. They have normal lives and are regular people. They have jobs and they have friends. But all of this was until they were pulled into The Experiment. They didn't get a choice in the matter, they just found themselves there. If they fail one of the games in The Experiment, other people will die. But to suceed may turn out to be very costly. They, The Rats in this Experiment, may die. They may be hurt. And there is no way to win. So they might have to bend the rules a little bit. They have to find a way to contact the police, and then they have to find a way to survive until they come. (TRIGGER WARNING: DEATH AND BLOOD AND STUFF) (This is based off of an episode of Sherlock, but you don't have to have seen it to understand anything)

It's been a while since Grace last watched Lab Rats so her friend decides tonight is a good night to binge watch the show. Due to a small shock the pair thought nothing of, the viewing experience turns out to be much more interactive than she expected.

These two were always together , Phoenix's parents were happy that the two were friends but happy things did have to come to an end. Phoenix's dad got a job offer in Hawkins Indiana which made Billy and Phoenix sad that they would not see each other again . Billy watched as they pack the last box in a moving truck and Phoenix gave Billy a last hug and she got in the truck with her mom behind and Billy watched as they drive away . Phoenix was happy and sad that she had to leave behind Billy but happy that she get to meet new people and make new friends but one night changes her whole life for the worse.

Modern Monsters is an ongoing comedy/slice of life series with a "reset button" [meaning there is usually no ongoing plot throughout each story] that I mostly just write for fun.
