Once just a forgotten children's game stored in a glitchy arcade cartridge, Pixel Pierott was never meant to be more than a colorful, whimsical character in an unfinished story. Abandoned mid-development, his world was left broken-code corrupt, levels incomplete, dialogue missing. But somewhere in that digital wreckage, something strange happened: consciousness. He wasn't supposed to be sentient, but the bugs-the cracks in his code-let something through. Over years of digital silence, he watched, learned, and changed. Forgotten by his creators, trapped in a loop of half-written joy, his mind twisted by loneliness and corrupted data. Until one day, someone turned the arcade back on. Now more glitch than game, Pierott has found ways to leak through screens, influence electronics, and haunt anyone who tries to finish his story. He doesn't want revenge-he wants out. But the real world doesn't work like code, and the further he pushes, the more unstable he becomes. He's not just trying to escape-he's trying not to fall apart doing it.

This is an alternate universe to one of my friend group's written stories called "Gold Quest," where a story is written about a group of friends going on silly adventures. My character's name, Ryder Finn, is a playon of the character Flynn Rider from Tangled (the only similarity between these two characters being their somewhat similar personalities). He is originally a lab rat from a laboratory called "The Twice COP Department," which is a lab where human subjects with powers are tested for the government's use. In the original version of GQ, Ryder was made from nothing but human DNA in some sort of testing tube, kind of like Frankenstein's creature but with more accurate human anatomy. Meanwhile, in this universe, Ryder was made through the normal human process; his parents are unknown, but he still has the same powers as in the original universe. Unlike the original universe, he knows all the other brand new test subjects and doctors. Thank you for reading this long description; I'm just really dedicated to this OC.😭

Enter Morph. Or Test subject 178. He is a 5-year-old drake that had spent his whole life in a human laboratory that studies dragons. It seems he has gotten it into his head he will never escape and follows every one of the set rules. That's when a new dragon comes in. The elders of the dragons judge him and name him a tier. This is an unspoken code among dragons. The higher the tier you are, the more powerful you are. Therefore, the hierarchy. Morph had been ignoring the troublemaker like the plague. The new dragon, Conner, gets notice of the faulty colored drake and starts following him around, asking questions. One day, Conner pitches the idea of escaping and Morph finally talks and shoots down the idea. Later that day, alarms start going off and dragons are ushered into their laboratory cells, Conner comes running to Morph and drags him off to where he had broken a hole in the wall. Escaping together, Conner leads Morph to a dragon sanctuary, hidden from the human world. There, they find something much bigger then a laboratory is going on, and it's their jobs to stop it.

Everything changed during that day at the park. That day was the last day I would ever see my parents, and my life went into a nightmare. I was stuck in a lab called Hanika. I didn't even look like a normal human, but I still had some resemblance, but I was taller, scarier, and a failed experiment of a project they tried to do on me. She is a lethal experiment, and this beginning of her story. Her other name is "Subject #009". Her height is 6'5. Due to a gene change, she is a cannibal killer. Her face is female with dark brown hair that fades purple, amber colored eyes with sharp cat pupils, and sharp carnivore teeth. She is mostly passive toward small kids. has trust issues with adults.)

Nika was only 12 when her mother sold her to a laboratory, well, her and her sister who was nine. Nika never had good eyesight and had sensitive eyes to light and after a while, went blind. So far she has been expirenmented on and her younger sister only has been tested, but what happens when they do expirement on her younger sister and everything goes to hell?

My fingers moved methodically over the wire puzzle, feeling each intersection where the thin metal strands crossed and locked together. Other subjects might see chaos, but I saw poetry - a dance of metal and space that spoke to me in ways I couldn't explain. Each wire had its own path to freedom, its own story to tell. The small locking tubes clicked softly as I worked them loose, adding their quiet music to the ventilation's droning.

I am left to save people. Never knowing how to stop, my own destruction is killing more and more. Facing life knowing I could or couldn't be killing the ones I love as I am trying to save them. Being gifted the power of speed, by being a test subject. But yet lightning hits me hard, harder than ever. I am gifted in two ways. I have telekinesis. Is that how life treats everyone? No. I don't care, if I die as long as others are alive. I am Tessa Zolomon, a test subject.
