Seu ultimo trabalho era totalmente programado, buscar a filha de um importante membro, que havia morrido á anos. A máfia precisava mata-lá, pois ela sabia muito sobre, e então eles mandam o garoto buscar a tal menina, dizendo que se ela fosse sem dar trabalho, ela ganharia um tanto de dinheiro, quando na verdade eles queriam assassina-la. O garoto, "Denver", o jeito que ele preferia ser chamado, vai atrás da menina, e sequestra a mesma. Depois de explicar todo o plano do dinheiro a ela, ela acaba aceitando, já que ela não tinha opção, ou ia de boa e ganhava a grana, ou ia sem ganhar nada, e a força. Eles partem em uma viagem de duas semanas no carro, e no meio disso, eles acabam se apaixonando intensamente, e os dois dali em diante terão que lutar contra uma grande máfia.
