The poem follows a girl who goes by the name of Amber, she is a victim of bullying, which results in suicide. In English we were asked to write a poem about an issue in modern day society, this poem consists of two themes - bullying and suicide, originally starting with bullying, but then the two just seemed to combine seamlessly, making the reader positioned to feel critically towards both themes, they were chosen as I believe these are two important issues that keep arising.
