This is a poem I wrote back in 2011 as an undergraduate for my Creative Writing module. This was the first piece I wrote in the style of Carol Ann Duffy's collection, "The World's Wife."

Jenna is lugged off to Minnesota to spend virtually her whole summer there with her family. She is not happy about it, nor excited. That is, until she meets a group of boys who ultimately change her life. Description sucks but the story is better!

Up close, Osama bin Laden was even more mysterious than on screen. The two interviewees had seen him only a few times, and that was only for several years in Pakistan, where he often went for treatment. Suffering from an incurable illness, he could not do without a hospital facility for a few days. The Americans had long played on this sensitive chord without ever managing to corner him. - The White House is a huge building. At this, Mullah Omar's single eye blinked. And he frowned, looking more and more like Rasputin. He became angry: - No matter how vast it may be, the White House is our primary objective.
