She is a seamstress's apprentice and still lives at home with her parents, but not all is quiet. Her life turns into a whirlwind as Chat Noir re-appears after seven years of being gone, Adrien moves back home, and Lila takes up as the new hawkmoth. Her quiet life is not so quiet anymore and she's not sure how she can juggle being Ladybug again without her partner.

Marinette is a clumsy dancer at the Agreste School of Ballet, where Hip Hop and Breakdancing are looked down upon and disapproved of. Marinette can never stand completely straight or keep her toes pointed, she's simply too clumsy. But she's determined to stay in the school because of her massive crush on the founder's son, Adrien.
