This is a short story about Mark and Emma from The Dark Artifices Lady Midnight. All rights go to Cassandra Clare, of course. I love her. I don't ship them as a couple, but I love them both and just wanted to write a story about them. I'm not from a country where English is the first language, so please correct me if some sentences or words aren't right, thanks! Enjoy! A one-shot continuing the conversation at the end of Lady Midnight. "Mark was like an art piece which you studied from afar in admiration and tried to understand, but to do so, you had to move closer, to get to know it better.
