Lafayette meets Angelica Schuyler in homeroom, and the two hit it off immediately. Then, during what's basically their first date, Angelica tells Laf about her abusive boyfriend, Thomas Jefferson, and is forced to leave early to meet him. Later, after she has left Jefferson's house, Laf finds her parked just outside, and invites her to get in his car. They end up making out, only to be interrupted by Jefferson. Laf and Jefferson get into a fight, and Laf wins saving Angelica's life. With no one else to save her now, Angelica is unable to thank Lafayette, and the two confess their love to eachother.
