Sofianna Lucky Aguilar's life wasn't the same as her second name "lucky". How could it be when at an early age, life took her parents... away from her. Leaving her with her sister and grandfather only. It wasn't easy. It wasn't a fairytale life her mother always told her about. Her grandfather was the only hope to continue something her parents dream for her- to graduate and be successful. And as time goes by, when she entered college, despite her lack of sociability, she worked as a bartender in a bar near their house. Everything was going well. Not until he met Rafael Dericko La fuente. The one who offered her to a fake relationship in exchange to her needs and wants. As a poor-girl herself, she accepted it thinking it was a right decision to make her life the same as what her mother always told her. But what if the fairytale she was expecting turns into something mysterious... and tragic. As Rafa and Sofia take the path together. How certain they are that the road is steady, and will not go bumpy? How are they going to cross a path full of uncertainty? One question: Where would their lies takes them?

Within 2011-2014 I wrote a set of poems that in time became a Spanish manuscript called "Talón", part of a three book serial (Talón - Planta - Punta) which was meant to be published simultaneasly, however, the impossibility to finish the manuscript of "Punta", which is (was) focused on meta-poetry and meta-language, led me to start other projects. Recently, I decided to start to translate some of my work, the exercise of translating became in time an exercise of writing the poems again. This is how "Talon" became "Distentio Animi". About the author Pablo Cesar Espinoza Lafuente (1989), was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Currently lives in the Philippines
