Kit is an orphan girl who Ragnar Lothbrok brought in. The seer told Ragnar and Lagertha that they would receive a gift from the gods. During that time, she had gotten pregnant with their firstborn son, Bjorn, who they thought was the gift, but they found out a day after Bjorn was born that he was not.
