This is my first ever story on wattpad, so please let me know what you think! My plan for this story is that it's set at the time of The Hobbit. It is from the perspective of a young girl from Laketown and she becomes increasingly worried about her uncle, Bard. She fears the mayor is suspecting something about Bard, a secret that only her Uncle knows... When the dwarves of Erebore are on the run from Legolas and his Elven army, things only become more complicated. Bard will be faced with a hard decision; Save them, or Kill them? What will become of Laketown? Will the prophecy be true?... ( I am currently reading The Hobbit, so I don't know the ending, I'm only creating my own, so it won't contain any spoilers ;) please comment and give me some of your ideas :D)

Greg's life had gone to shit. His fiancee abandoned them, being a single father has stalled his career, and his condo board is telling him he has 60 days to GTFO. Greg's childhood best friend is offering him a reprieve. Go back to the small mountain town of Black Lake and help out his friend's little sister who has taken over the family company: Greystone Estate. "Greystone must always welcome visitors" Greg had heard the mantra growing up and was thankful for the open doors of a familiar presence. Now Greg is back where he happily spent his childhood summers, with a grown-up Faye who is nothing like the little girl he left behind all those summers ago. However, without the rose colored glasses of childhood, Greg is starting to notice there is something off about the lumbering old lodge called Greystone, presiding over Black Lake from its vantage on the hill. Tucked into the forest, and acting as the gateway to miles and miles of wilderness, Greystone is a hidden place filled with secrets as ancient as the hills themselves. Missing hikers, deadly beasts, ghostly distress calls, and campers that disappear in the middle of the night...Greystone seems to be the stuff urban legends are made of, yet the visitors never stop coming and not all seem to come with good intent. Beguiled with the new innkeeper, Greg has a chance at a brand new life up in the isolated mountains playing host to all those who want to want to reconnect with nature and spend their summers enjoying the forest. So why does it feel like something sinister hides among the trees?

The woman had lost her mind. Somehow, she'd nearly drowned in the spellbound stream of forgetfulness that cut through the dark eaves of Mirkwood. Now, without a name or past, she emerges on the other side of the forest, only to be found by an honest boatman of Laketown. Bard, a widower and father, takes the strange woman into his home, unaware of what effect it might have on his family in the future.

A Revised Definition follows LEA VAS who is spending her summer with her long-distance best friend, RITA KHOURI and her Egyptian family. Lea has always been what she describes as "The Thumb"─the random, third-wheeling, different person in her group of friends. While she cannot wait to spend her summer at her best friend's lake house, paddle boarding and working at their family's pharmacy alongside her crush, SALVATORE DOMINGUEZ, she dreads the moment Rita realizes that she is boring and bland. When CHARLIE HANNA, the geeky-yet-flirtatious boy next door, suggests that they form, with a few friends, a club comparing books to their on-screen adaption, Lea cannot help but wonder if perhaps this will be her time to shine, to finally have a say and be who she has always hoped she'd be... **There are bad words, but they are censored with a "*" **I've already written the entire story and will be posting a chapter twice a week or more depending on my schedule.**

The start to Sereia Marlow's last summer before post-college life commences was supposed to be filled with sunny summer weather, lake life, and enjoying every moment with her best friends. Unfortunately, that's not the case. As Reia and her friends enjoy their first day on the water, she's playfully thrown into the water only to resurface as snow falls from the summer sky and the lake having turned into a winter snowstorm; sadly, her friends are floating dead in the freezing water with frozen looks of terror distorting their faces. There hasn't been a recorded death at Kepnick Lake in over 200 years, so no one in Kepnick is taking Reia's claim seriously. Without aid, it is up to Reia alone to look into their mysterious disappearances. As she uncovers disturbing facts about her family, Sereia might have to turn to herself as the explanation for their deaths. 3rd Place Winner in the 2020 Zodiac Awards Paranormal/Horror Open Novella Contest 2020 Contest Entry! When a human woman mysteriously appears in the heart of Mirkwood forest with a unique gem, the Elves take interest in her, and they aren't the only ones. Another, much darker being wants her, partly for the gem, and partly because of her true heritage. One Elf in particular takes a special interest in Allison, the human woman. The Elf's name is Tauriel, the captain of the Mirkwood guard, and the emotions that she feels are unfamiliar to her. I do not own The Hobbit or any of the characters. I only own the plot and the character of Allison Locke.

Upon returning over a decade later, the now 18 year old young man discovers his hometown of Palisade Harbor to be run down and dilapidated, only a husk of its former self. His father, wheelchair-bound and scarred both physically and mentally, is his only companion in the desolate town. But soon, he meets Abigail, a girl about eight years old. Although she seems to see things that he cannot, Doug credits this to her vivid and childlike imagination. As things begin occurring in the town that cannot be explained, Doug realizes that Abigail's incredible mind may be the key to unlocking Palisade Harbor's past, and what had gone wrong since he had left all those years ago.
