A small town. A inherited bookstore. A sealed envelope with a date no one will talk about. Wren Calloway is twenty, stubborn, and new to Fern Hollow, Wisconsin. The town is warm on the surface and guarded underneath. The retired pastor everyone loved didn't die the way they're saying. And the man who owns the café on Main Street knows more than a stranger should. Some things are better left where they are. Wren hasn't learned that rule yet.

Lydia Miller is a 17 year old who loves every part of her life. Her family, her amazing group of friends, her close-knit community, and her best friend? Confused? So is Lydia. Trevor has been a huge part of her life since she was a kid, her best friend who she did everything with. They've continued to be inseparable all the way up to their senior year, but after a conversation leaves her wondering what really lies between them, her mind floods with thoughts of what could be. This leaves Lydia questioning if what she feels is real, or all in her head.

Noah has been come back into this small town of Ellas and has some new tricks up his sleeve. The two must over come the changes that are about to happen to them both.
