The fighter. The jerk. And my crush. Why did I have to like a troublemaker."Hey hope!" my friend brittany calls. I wave ,then someone pushes me to the ground. I look up and I see something that makes me sick. My ex, Jonathan, he's a psycho and after he harassed me I turned him in to the cops he got out of juvie yesterday. I try to stand."Get back down!" He says pushing me. I slide across the bleachers scraping my arms. My friends scream at him to stop but he brings something out of his coat pocket. A gun. He points it at me."Shut up or I shoot!" He yells. I'm paralyzed in fear images from a month ago come back and plague my mind. He yells at me to stand,I can't. He points the gun to my head and pulls the trigger.

Be patient with me, please! LOL! I work two full time jobs and get little sleep. My writing is sporadic at best because when I'm too tired (often), my brain barely functions and stifles my creativity. I can't give up writing, so just know I will write a bunch at times, and then you won't hear from me for months. I will try to write as much as I can. Thanks! In Book three (FINALLY started!!!), Kaitlin returns to white society with her long lost brother in order to see her failing father. The community believes the child she carries is that of her (absent) white husband's, a lie to protect her unborn infant. Kaitlin must escape and return to the man she loves. If she cannot, she risks her life and that of her child when the baby she carries is brought forth into the world. All will know then that she is a "squaw" to the renowned great enemy and chief of war, Spirit Bear.
