Blackoc X Milo Mannheim In which Delilah Pierce doesn't believe in fate. Not even when she locks eyes with a boy in a rainy café in Wellington and her chest pulls like she's just remembered something from a dream. Not even when his voice sounds like home before he even tells her his name. Milo Manheim is in New Zealand filming Zombies focused on executing his role perfectly for his final movie in the trilogy. He didn't expect to find her - the girl who makes time feel blurry. Who seems to know things he hasn't said. The girl whose name feels like a lyric he used to hum without knowing the words. They're just two strangers in the same city. But the more they meet, the more the world feels... familiar. Like they've been here before. Together. In dreams. In echoes. In lives they've forgotten. They don't know each other. Not yet. But maybe their souls do.

Nyleah doesn't chase. Never has, never will. If she wants you, you'll know. If she doesn't, you won't even exist to her. Simple. She moves quiet, but everything about her loud. her presence, her stare, the way people straighten up when she walks in. Amara though? Whole different story. Amara doesn't follow rules, doesn't care about no reputation, and definitely not checking for Nyleah. She has her own name, her own vibe, and she's not the type to let nobody feel like they're above her. Especially not some girl who thinks she runs everything. So when they meet in the club, it's instant friction. Not the cute kind either. It's side-eyes, slick comments, standing a little too close like they're daring each other to do something. Both of them used to be the one in control, and neither one backing down. Everybody else can feel it too. That tension? Yeah... but it's not normal. Because under all that attitude, it's something else building. And Nyleah hates that she's even noticing it. Because she doesn't chase. But Amara might be the first person making her forget how that even works. They're above her. Especially not some girl who thinks she runs everything.
