Argath Alcott made a deal with the devil. In exchange for overwhelming strength, agelessness, motivation and drive, he is slowly being consumed by a fifty year curse that leads to his eventual nonexistence. As his story is about to come to its ultimate conclusion, he charters one last carriage to a sleepy village at the base of a volcano where he intends to settle one last thread of unfinished business. Argath's final pilgrimage is one punctuated by melancholy reflections on the past, fleeting memories of old family and the burning desire to protect his new allies, all while being haunted by ghosts of his past crimes. Updated every Monday.

In the stillness of a night long ago, Allama Muhammad Iqbal have the world one of its most tender and touching expression of maternal hope: "Maa Ka Khwab". In that poem a mother, awake while her child sleeps, lifts her heart to the heavens and asks not for wealth or domination for her son but for strength, mercy, courage and the rare light that guides humanity forward. The two poems that follows are born from the same sacred flame, yet they belong to our own time. The first "Ma Ka Khwab" is a re-imagination that keeps Iqbal's longing alive while clothing it in new metaphors. The second "The Childs's Answer" is something Iqbal never wrote but which every mother secretly hopes to hear. It is the reply of the sleeping child who years later awakens to discover that every word of his mother's midnight plea has taken root inside him. Together, these two voices form a single circle of love and becoming one. One returned blooming to place the first flower at her feet. Read slowly. Read Aloud. They are not merely poems they are a conversation between every mother who ever prayed in the dark and every child who ever tried to become the answer to the prayer.

This is a brief tale told from the perspective of a narcissistic marshmallow bunny (named Mal) who lives in a grand mansion with two other bunnies named Amie and Elise, as well as two humans named Berlioz and Pierre. It all starts with Mal getting some strange feeling he's never felt before...and it goes downhill from there. Martha? (That's not his name, Mal!) Tables? Rainbow sprinkles? It might not make sense now, but dive into this short story and all shall be explained. Sort of.

no. *I swear to god, if you saved it to Other Stories, you either get notifications of THE SMALLEST EDITS I DO, or you'd just decline to save it and look for other stuff.* This isn't even a story compilation, its just a compilation for random stuff to be on here to make no sense.

I think of you many a times a day, and many a days a week, all weeks a month, all months a year, and all these years. I think of you whenever I am reminded of a girl character in a novel. I think of you whenever I read of Fatima and Naoko and Ananya. You're like a love song, heard in childhood, that comes to mind randomly, and when it comes, it comes with nostalgia and elation. And some of these days, I think of you intensely, tormenting myself.
