(KLANCE) The paladins of Voltron were still learning a lot and having to adjust to their new lives. It was really different from living on Earth compared to the Castle of Lions. They had to get used to flying their lions, forming Voltron, different gravity levels, and different food. If you could even call the goo they had to eat food. But one of the most difficult things they had to get used to was each other. One night all the paladins were peacefully sleeping, except for one: Lance. Suddenly the alarm that Coran installed to alert them of Glara attacks was blaring over the entirety of the Castle of Lions. They all rushed into action, but Lance ended up being late. Nonetheless they take down the Glara with ease. When they get back to the Castle of Lions, they have another small fight. Allura informs them that they will have a bonding exercise the next day due to all the fighting. Lance has a problem. A problem that helped him calm all the other problems he faces. Will this bonding exercise end up revealing it to the team? Will they hate him? Or: They each get hooked up to a lie detector and are asked questions, but Lance is acting weird. POV: Post war Keith comes back to earth pretty hurt from a blade of mamora humitarian mission. Lance realises that he can't afford to lose Keith as well, that it would hurt even more than losing Allura did, and discovers the feelings for him that he'd denied himself all along. Lance doesn't want Keith to leave his side ever again. He takes the leap of faith and confesses. OR: Post war, Keith gets hurt badly on a mission and Lance realises he can't lose him too, maybe, perhaps, in fact, not at all. They're both stupid and stubborn and lay everything out and open onto the table. OR OR: they confess their undying feelings for each other after being in denial and hiding it for years

After Lance was injured in a previous mission, Keith finds himself becoming more protective over the boy which takes him by surprise. While planning their current mission plans, Keith as the Black Paladin makes the decision to forbid Lance from leaving the Castle of Lions for this mission which frustrates Lance into trying to disobey Keiths orders. In a moment of anger and protectiveness, Keith impulsively marks Lance with a mating mark on his neck in front of the other Paladins. Will Keith and Lance figure out how to deal with this or will this tear them apart even further.
