Lance and Keith are rivals, always neck and neck, but what happens when they get trapped inside a cave and are forced to talk with each other?

Keith Kogane lives on the edge. You could call it teen angst, or maybe he was just a daredevil, but you could never call him a coward. Skateboarding was his passion, well not just his passion. It was more of a way of life. Everyday he headed out to the boardwalk skatepark, looking to get his adrenaline pumping and to hang out with his buddies. They were more like family to him because 1. They had weed 2. They were the kindest people to ever grace this world. Keith couldn't imagine a life without them, until his best friend Hunk turned on him (not really) and told him about a dance studio where he was taking classes up on the other side of the boardwalk, and invited Keith to a class or two. of course Keith agreed. Who would say no to such a sweetheart? Turns out that that was the worst decision Keith could ever make. Or possibly, the best.

In the heat of battle against the Galra Empire, a wormhole appears out of nowhere. Tossing Lance, Shiro and Keith to the unknown depths of the other side it brought them to. The three of them get separated and finds themselves stranded in an unknown planet, their Lions unresponsive. Being stuck while waiting for the others to find them wasn't the worst part but having to deal with the planet's occupants whose ruler has taken a strong and troublesome liking for the Red Paladin of Voltron. But Keith doesn't know what his truest desires are, and when he is forced to go into the water, he has a dream that he might not awake from. Can Lance get him to come back to reality and face the fact that they both are in love with one another? DISCLAIMER: This was written way before Allura was revealed to be a "teenager." As such, the discourse has discouraged me from liking Shallura, even though part of me doesn't believe Allura is a teen since she looks and acts older than Keith, Lance, and Hunk (who are 16/17). I prefer ShiroxMatt now anyways.
