Lance, to put it simply, was an awful prince. Mostly because he was never supposed to be one, and being completely thrown into the role at age ten with exactly zero instruction didn't help. Things had a sudden change. And another. And one more time, as he found himself tumbling out of his sleep pod and into a very pretty person. This person was not Altean. Nor was this person even female. That was distressing. They grew closer, fighting together, becoming a good team. His attraction didn't die off. It just came with the added bonus of actual romantic feelings he couldn't do anything about. Lance was still an awful prince, even if he had nothing to be prince of.

I thought I was sick, Allergies, Flu, But nothing made sense, why was it only when he was around? I tried researching what I was feeling but only one term came up "Love" This... couldn't be it. I was sure of it. I have someone in my life. And it's not going to be... him. I don't want to get hurt again.
