He had bad mental health- he wouldn't talk about it, but the dreadful emptiness and sorrow that weighted him, the constant worries and fears of anxiety taunted him. He didn't know how to deal. The only person he opened up to about any of it was his sweet, beautiful, loving boyfriend Lotor who would make sure he was happy and healthy each and every day, for more than a year. He felt so loved, which was really good for him. Until Lotor had gotten bored. Bored of Keith. Lotor stopped talking to him for days, it drove Keith crazy. And then he left. But that was two months ago. You'd think 'Hey, Keith should be fine by now.' He was the farthest thing from. But this wasn't about Keith and Lotor. He soon joins their gang. Everything going great (Great for zombie apocalypse that is) but when teammate lance saves them he receives a fatal injury, but comes out out 'alive' The gang begins to mistrust Lance and when they meet Lotor, the other Talker they realise Talkers have alot more Power then Lance initially told them. Keith and Lance both apply for the same college. They had previously had a couple classes together in high school. Lance remember Keith as the guy who was always 1 upping him. Keith remembers him as the annoying one. When they get assigned as roommates for the entire college year, they learn to deal with living together, which soon becomes much more complicated.

A slow build up and hidden feelings makes Lance volunteer for Keith's rescue. Also a slight Divergent reference/idea

This is going to be my very first actual story so don't have very high hopes or expectations This is a story about klance and their journey to love. I don't have the story planned out it's just kinda a trial and error. I don't have a posting schedule I upload as I go. I'll try to upload frequently but I get bored easily. There will be fluff smut and angst, I can try to warn you before the smut but here's your warning. Can't promise anything. Lance works at a cruelty free aquarium that gives water animals that can't survive well in the wild alone a second chance while also letting people see/pet/swim with them. Keith's adopted brother Shiro is crushing on Allura, who's Uncle Coran owns the marine sanctuary, so Shiro drags Keith there a lot. Lance also has a service dog, Blue (a black and white English Setter), because he has depression, anxiety attacks, and PTSD. Keith has a grumpy cat. If you don't like this, bite me. This is my first fanfiction in a few years so please be patient. The cover isn't mine. Credit goes to the artist.

Lance misses home, but Keith won't stand to see him bottling up his feelings. Crying, drama and maybe a little romance ensue as they pour out their emotions and discover what home really is, I don't own the cover art or the characters in any way. All I own is my writing.
