Peter Landings and Toshi Ikyza are normal, almost sixteen year olds, living in Wranthington, England. Peter's a lifelong Wrantington-ite, a golden boy adored by his peers; and Toshi is a, relatively new to town, brilliant boy who can calculate complex math problems in seconds and has a slight obsession with time and memories. However unlikely this pair is, Toshi and Peter are best friends with nothing on their minds but Final exams and winter break... that is, until a chance encounter turns their lives upside down. When a gravely injured man gives Toshi an old book and dies in Peter's arms, their lives are opened to a world of mystery and danger. The book, which Toshi swore to protect with his life, leads the boys to a clue about a hidden bounty that people have been searching centuries for. The boys dive into the hunt for the mysterious prize detailed in the book, but this isn't like their childhood scavenger hunts; there are higher, deadly stakes to be had. Mercenaries and killers are on the trail as well and they will stop at nothing to eliminate anyone in their way, especially not two boys in way over their heads. How will Peter and Yoshi survive as they race to find the ultimate prize?
