Landlady Stories

A story about a landlady who tried very hard not to fall for her suspiciously handsome tenant. Unfortunately, her brain had other plans. What follows is a series of awkward encounters, internal spirals, island gossip, and one tenant whose jawline overstayed its welcome.

The assignment was to make a backstory for the Landlady in Ronald Dahl's story "The Landlady."

DISCLAIMER!!! I do not own the story "the landlady" it belongs to Roald Dahl! I am just adding my ending that I had to write for LA and I'd say it's pretty good. Growing up in the nineteen fifties, spankings, or smacked bottoms as we tended to call them, were part of everyday life. As we got older they became less frequent, but the threat was always there. This story deals with some experienced when younger, but finishes with the last I ever got, from my university landlady, at the age of eighteen. Although this is listed as fiction, it is not entirely untrue.

First ever work on Wattpad!! Extension of "The Landlady" by Roald Dahl. Billy Weaver is staying the night at a local Bed and Breakfast where no one has stayed for three years. My Communication Arts teacher decided that as a project, we would create our own ending to Roald Dahl's short story, The Landlady. Though I had many more explicit and graphic ideas, I was told to make it school-appropriate, so I was forced to comply. To get the full gist of the story, the link to the original short story is included at the end.

What happens when a girl is living in her dream meets the contradictory reality at crucial part of her life. let's see whether she will be able to cope up or just gone into her Dreamland.
