The story starts when things get even worse after Headmistress Madame Morrible creates a tornado that enters another realm, and brings a teenage girl named Dorothy Gale (Bethany Weaver) into the Land of Oz ... She makes delightful new friends such as, the Scarecrow (Jonathan Bailey) that needs a brain, a Tin Woodsman (Ethan Slater) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion (Colman Domingo) who wants courage. The wizard (Jeff Goldblum) asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West (Cynthia Erivo) to earn his help. This is based on other Oz adaptations, such as Wicked: For Good and the Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel. This book is a reimagined adaptation of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz that takes place during Wicked: For Good events. Tik-Tok of Oz is the eighth Land of Oz book written by L. Frank Baum, published on June 19, 1914. The book actually has little to do with Tik-Tok and is primarily the quest of the Shaggy Man (introduced in The Road to Oz) to rescue his brother and his resulting conflict with the Nome King. The endpapers of the first edition held maps: one of Oz itself, and one of the continents on which Oz and its neighboring countries belonged. These were the first maps printed of Oz.

This is a (somewhat) gender swapped and gay retelling of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It follows Darren Gale as his whole life is dropped (quite litterally) into a new world. After gaining a pair of new shoes he sets off to find his way home, along the way making new friends...along with a terrible enemy. Please enjoy this retelling of a favorite to kids and adults alike of every race, gender, and sexuality all over the world since 1900.

The following story is a "what if?" type of story based on the film 'Return To Oz'. The premise is 'what if the witch had won?' and takes place shortly after the events of the film.

Glinda isn't the Witch of the North bro... *** Thanks to the blooming success of the Wicked film, musical and books, and even other franchises/book sagas like The Wiz, Dorothy Must Die and Oz the great and powerful, no one pays attention to true, original facts anymore. The shoes aren't actually ruby, they're silver! And Glinda isn't the Witch of the North, but the South... And when it comes to a good witch of Oz, especially of the North? The name "Glinda" is on everyone's lips. Thank you Grande, Chenoweth and Blurke for that I guess. But there are other witches of the North, good or wicked. And they will be the stars of this book.

Frank Baum, "The Marvelous Land of Oz" (1904) and "Ozma of Oz" (1907), I have once again used some characters from the 1985 film "Return to Oz" in my illustrations. This choice made once again because of the appearance of the main characters in that film more resembling the ones used in the original Oz book illustrations crafted by W.W. Denslow and John R. Neill, than other Oz films. In this adaption, I have also merged the characters of Mombi from "The Marvelous Land of Oz" with Princess Langwidere from "Ozma of Oz," echoing the creative fusion of that character seen in the 1985 film. The character of the Nome King from Ozma of Oz has been infused with General Jinjur from the Marvelous Land of Oz, and reimagined as the Queen Roquat. Princess Mombi also takes some of Jinjur's traits. Many other changes to characters and events from the books can be seen throughout my adaption as well.
