The strangest patient Lando had ever seen in his life was brought in from the mountains one night. He had no identification. No family. And, apparently, no intention of waking up anytime soon. For months, room 312 was filled with the steady beeping of machines. And Lando's endless chatter. At first, he talked because it was part of the job. Then it became a habit. And eventually, he started acting as though he was certain the young man was listening to him.

At school, Oscar Piastri is nothing special. Quiet. Smart. Easy to overlook. The kind of person no one ever really pays attention to. Which is exactly what he needs. Because the second someone looks too closely, they'll realize there's nothing harmless about him at all. At night, Oscar disappears into a world of speed, risk, and secrets - a life built on illegal street racing and choices that could ruin him if they ever came to light. And no one is supposed to find out. Especially not Lando Norris. Golden boy. Popular. Untouchable. But when Lando accidentally uncovers Oscar's double life, he doesn't expose him. He makes a deal. Help him get his ex back. Play the perfect fake boyfriend. And in return, Oscar's secret stays safe. It should've been simple. Just an act. Just pretending. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to tell what's real and what's not. - fake dating • high school au • secret life • jealousy • slow burn • racing • angst

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri dominate the season at McLaren, until rivalry, jealousy, and the weight of expectations begin to fracture their balance. Behind every final race lies what no one sees: a season that seemed written in advance. Two drivers in the same team, too close to be incidental, too competitive to be safe. As the championship tightens and pressure rises, something begins to change. Glances that last a little too long. Silences that say too much. A balance that threatens to break at every race weekend. In a paddock where nothing stays secret for long, how far can you go before losing everything? And what remains... when the final race arrives? This fanfiction is a Landoscar, a romance between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. It takes place in 2025, a championship-winning year for Lando. This is a work of fiction: it is not real and is entirely a product of the author's imagination. Schedule: Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM (New York time) From 05/24/26 to 09/12/26

They share the same garage. The same color. The same pressure. In the relentless world of Formula 1, everything is measured in tenths of a second - except what grows slowly, quietly, between two teammates. Oscar Piastri thrives on control, precision, and silence. Lando Norris lives through instinct, emotion, and noise. Side by side at McLaren they learn to trust each other on track long before they dare to understand what happens off it. Between Friday practices, tense Saturday qualifying sessions, and unforgiving Sunday races, something unspoken settles in the spaces between them. Shared routines. Lingering glances. Almost-touches that mean too much to be accidental and not enough to be named. As the season unfolds - through victories, failures, pressure from the paddock, and eyes that start to notice - Oscar falls first without realizing it. Lando falls harder while trying not to fall at all. What happens when two people are always next to each other - and nowhere feels safe enough to tell the truth. A slow-burn Formula 1 romance. Hidden. Intimate. Inevitable.

No one in Formula 1 ever expects two drivers to think the same way. Not when every corner demands instinct, every braking point reveals personality, and every lap tells the truth about who you are behind the wheel. Which is why the first time Oscar Piastri's telemetry matched mine, people laughed it off. Coincidence. Luck. One strange overlap in a sport full of them. The second time, they frowned. The third time, they whispered. By the fourth, no one was laughing anymore. Because our data wasn't just similar. It was identical - curve for curve, corner for corner, choice for choice - as if he had reached into my head and stolen the rhythm of my hands, my instincts, my heart. No one could explain it. And the more it happened, the harder it became to ignore the question sitting like a stone in my chest - Why us?

Lando knows what he should do. He should stop checking his phone at three in the morning, waiting for Oscar to text. He should stop trying to figure out where Oscar's been or who he's been with. He should definitely stop analyzing every touch like it means something it probably doesn't. The hand on his knee, the way Oscar leans in close, those casual "I love you"s that Lando replays until they fall apart into meaninglessness. Most of all, he should stop this thing where he's convinced that almost is enough. But Oscar makes it difficult. Not on purpose. That's almost worse, actually. Instead, Oscar just exists the way he does quiet, comfortable and careless with how much of himself he gives away, and Lando just keeps showing up, keeps believing things he knows aren't true. And the thing is, Oscar never promised him anything. Not once. Lando built all of this himself, constructed the entire narrative from fragments and proximity and Oscar's ability to make him feel like he was the only person that mattered in any given moment. So when Oscar texts him at three in the morning, Lando answers. When Oscar shows up at his door with that tired look and asks if he can stay, Lando lets him in. When Oscar says those things, quiet, half-asleep, drunk enough to be honest, Lando listens, and he believes them for the few hours before reality sets in. Because maybe Oscar's giving him pretty big lies, and maybe Lando knows they're lies, but they're the only thing he's got. And that's enough, somehow. It has to be enough.

"Oscarrr! Come on, the car is leaving! What's taking you so long?!" My father's harsh command echoes through the hall, tearing me back to the present. "Please, don't leave it like this, Osc," Lando pleads. His voice is hoarse, eyes brimming with tears as his trembling hands clutch my shirt. I shake my head, opening my mouth to explain, but my father barks at me to come downstairs again. Lando swallows hard, tears breaking free and streaming down his flushed cheeks. "Please, Osc-please, I didn't mean to-" he sobs, the words coming out rushed and tangled. Taking one last look at his red cheeks and trembling, split lip, I break his grip and push him away. I bolt down the stairs before I can break, throwing the car door open and ignoring my family. As my dad turns the ignition and pulls away, the familiar streets fade into a blur. All I can think is We never even said goodbye. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris were supposed to make it to the top together. Ever since Oscar moved to Lando's town in England at eight years old, they were inseparable. Neighbors, classmates, and fierce karting rivals, they shared a single, unbreakable dream of making it to Formula 1. But everything shattered the day Oscar announced he was moving to Brussels. On their final day together, the unspoken tension boiled over, a panicked reaction, and a fractured goodbye. Oscar drove away, leaving Lando's frantic texts on read. And just like that, a bond faded into permanent silence. Years later, they have both achieved their ultimate dream, but they've become complete strangers along the way. At least, until Zak Brown calls Lando into a meeting with a simple, life-changing introduction. "Lando, this is your new teammate... Oscar Piastri. He'll be joining us this season." Now, forced to share a garage, the past they left behind is about to catch up to them at 200 miles per hour...

It was a sunny day. Students flowed through the gates for the first day back after half-term. Friends caught up, stories were shared, and the school buzzed with excitement. Amid all the chaos were two boys who shared the same dream, though each was quietly standing in the other's way. They didn't know each other yet, but one day they would become an unstoppable duo. There was Lando, the loud, popular boy who everyone wanted to be friends with. He had taken up camp outside the dining hall, chatting with anyone who walked past. Then there was Oscar, the shy new Australian boy who just wanted to make it to maths class.

Max Verstappen has always trusted himself behind the wheel. Reality is another matter. It starts with hallucinations-people who aren't there, places that change around him, familiar faces he can no longer trust. At first, Max fights them. He checks. He questions. He searches for ways to separate what is real from what his mind has created. Then the checks stop working. Eventually, Formula One has to continue without him, and Max is admitted to hospital with no clear date for when-or if-he'll be able to return. And then things get worse. His world shrinks to a hospital room. Days pass without him leaving his bed. Food goes untouched. Showers become too much effort. Racing-the thing that once consumed his entire life-stops mattering. Sometimes Max wakes believing he's somewhere completely different. Sometimes people who aren't real sit beside him for hours. Eventually, he becomes too exhausted to keep questioning them. Charles watches the person he loves disappear further into himself, terrified not only by what Max sees, but by the moments when Max no longer seems to care whether any of it is real. And when depression convinces Max that Charles would be better off without him, both of them are forced to confront something neither wanted to admit: Love cannot make Charles responsible for keeping Max alive, grounded, and okay. So their friends step in. Pascale refuses to let either of them face it alone. George, Alex, Lando, Oscar, Yuki, Pierre, Arthur and the others stop waiting for Charles to ask for help. A hospital lounge slowly becomes another paddock-loud, chaotic, irritating, familiar. And somewhere in all that noise, tiny things begin to change. Max gets out of bed. He eats because he's hungry. He argues again. He laughs. He starts caring about race results. Then comes telemetry. A simulator. The hospital doors. Cold air outside. A steering wheel beneath his hands. Home. Recovery isn't a straight line. The ha

there's a difference between: loving someone peacefully and loving someone so deeply they become part of your bones. Oscar had been the second one. 10 years after Ibiza 2016, the summer where everything felt endless, Lando finds a forgotten shoebox in his attic. The things inside are postcards, old paddock passes, disposable camera photos, hotel receipts, and a faded receipt for a cheap silver chain.
