"Some people have complimented saying my tales have the beat of the Moroccan Gnawa. I think they were just being nice; because with the passage of time, I have become convinced it was the evileye that captured me." 1999, Morocco, term abroad design study for me, an American college student. Wanted to get into the culture... but the culture got into me. New Mexico native, inspired by the landscape and Ansel Adams, Georgia O'Keeffe, JB Jackson, I tell my own story, having been heavily influenced by Lord Byron, HG Wells, Algernon Blackwood and Rod Serling. I call this work: landscape stories. They are low fantasy.

This short story is inspired by a lighthouse I visited with my family a couple of weeks ago. Simply looking at it, observing the way it interacted with the environment, made me wonder about its history. And it made me wonder, how much it really meant to the community.

Poem inspired by Vincent van Gogh's painting "The Starry Night". I felt inspired by this painting and so I wrote a poem where this artwork is a magical place with a brighter moon and every night being so special and magical that you'd like to stay forever.

Amber suffered a great loss, the most important person in her life, her dad. Before he died, his final wish was for her to be happy. A year later, she is living in utter depression. Her mom wants to reinvent their lives, and decides to move to California. There, Amber decides to live her father's final words. She meets Damien, the sexy boy living in the same house as her who seems secluded, so what will happen when he finally opens up to her? Then there's Archer, Damien's brother, the funny, adorable, and sweet boy who made Amber's heart skip a beat every time she sees him. This is a collection of my artwork since FOREVER. The subjects range from sceneries to anime characters, from Tweety to Goku; from cherry blossoms to the stars in the sky. It also has characters from Beyblade, Inazuma Eleven, Noragami, Iron Man, and the likes of them. See if you can recognize your favorite characters or not. I hope you like it. Since I'm an amateur and never really took classes in drawing, please forgive any mistakes I make!
