"Some people have complimented saying my tales have the beat of the Moroccan Gnawa. I think they were just being nice; because with the passage of time, I have become convinced it was the evileye that captured me." 1999, Morocco, term abroad design study for me, an American college student. Wanted to get into the culture... but the culture got into me. New Mexico native, inspired by the landscape and Ansel Adams, Georgia O'Keeffe, JB Jackson, I tell my own story, having been heavily influenced by Lord Byron, HG Wells, Algernon Blackwood and Rod Serling. I call this work: landscape stories. They are low fantasy.

This short story is inspired by a lighthouse I visited with my family a couple of weeks ago. Simply looking at it, observing the way it interacted with the environment, made me wonder about its history. And it made me wonder, how much it really meant to the community.

Art that was, you guessed it, drawn in 2016! all done in my art class. my first semester of Charcoal art! if you have never tried charcoal, go out and buy a stick or two! it's messy, but super fun. crush the stick to get nice powder to spread around, or just, you know.... use it in its stick form lol

Based on One Night The Moon directed by Rachel Perkins. Several different versions of one event to show how an imagination can develop and change. Set in the driest areas of Australia in the outback up north. A little girl follows her imagination to discover that her innocence isn't always going to save her life.
