Hey guys it's Rose ?✨ and for serious I'm here to share my experience through some great stories of my text book. Ya it's awkward that I'm sharing some stories of my textbook but I'm very fascinated by those and can't help it wanna share. (◠‿・)-☆ But you'll going to see something different. In this I'm gonna tell what I felt about it and going to develop some more details that's starting from where the main story ends by the real author. Yes I'm not a great author but I wanna develope my feelings on it by developing some more details. Cause I'm not so satisfied with the ending so for that I wanna make more. Don't know what I can do. I'd took help from some books and specially online to get the main story cause I'm not gonna write out the main story just only developing parts. A poem about my perception on my new day and my past ones. Everything is up for discussion and feedback. So tell me... What is your Perception. ☺

This compilation of poems and short stories were inspired by Harlem Renaissance artists such as: Langston Hughes, Zora Neale-Hurston, Claude McKay, Lorraine Hansberry, Countee Cullen, W.E.B Du Bois, James Baldwin and countless others. Their influence on and off the page helped shape who I am as an African-American. My work is solely a reflection of multiple aspects of my life and sometimes I will use images that coincide with my subject matter. My poems and short stories "tell it like it is". I'm not trying to throw shade. I'm just speaking my truth.

"Dear Artina #28, I think you're lovely, lucky, and lavishing- pursed smile and all. I'm too shy, too unfortunate to even give you a call. I hope one day I'll stand in front of you leaving you flustered against a brick wall." He's hopelessly devoted to a girl that half knows he exists. He writes her constant letters, but she assumes it's her 3 year lover's way of showing romance. Unchained Melodies is an ongoing collection of old and recent poems written by e'carg, a seventeen year old writer and musician hailing from the south side of chicago .

Some live life carefree and happy, and success finds them along the way. For others, their journey for success leaves them empty handed. For others, they can watch and imitate those around them that have achieved everything they can hope for, but still fail. For some, no matter how hard they work- the goals they strive for- nothing works, and they are left in the dust by their luckier counterparts, who just look back and laugh. This started as an English Honors assignment and became much more.
