Unchained Melodies is an ongoing collection of old and recent poems written by e'carg, a seventeen year old writer and musician hailing from the south side of chicago .

Simultaneously touching and gritty, "You Ain't Hungry Until I'm Starving" promotes peace and equality by offering unique insight into some of the most complicated issues of our time. "The secret is - there really is no secret!" Growing up an African-American man with some Native American ancestry, Buggs has been gifted with a broad and unbiased view of race relations in America. Never one to shy away from the harsh realities of life, he instead chooses to redirect our human confusion and frustration toward finding amicable solutions that express the best of humanity. This book serves to fulfill our deepest inner cravings and provide much needed nutrition for the soul. I took a poetry class once, watch out for me.

This compilation of poems and short stories were inspired by Harlem Renaissance artists such as: Langston Hughes, Zora Neale-Hurston, Claude McKay, Lorraine Hansberry, Countee Cullen, W.E.B Du Bois, James Baldwin and countless others. Their influence on and off the page helped shape who I am as an African-American. My work is solely a reflection of multiple aspects of my life and sometimes I will use images that coincide with my subject matter. My poems and short stories "tell it like it is". I'm not trying to throw shade. I'm just speaking my truth.

Ya it's awkward that I'm sharing some stories of my textbook but I'm very fascinated by those and can't help it wanna share. (◠‿・)-☆ But you'll going to see something different. In this I'm gonna tell what I felt about it and going to develop some more details that's starting from where the main story ends by the real author. Yes I'm not a great author but I wanna develope my feelings on it by developing some more details. Cause I'm not so satisfied with the ending so for that I wanna make more. Don't know what I can do. I'd took help from some books and specially online to get the main story cause I'm not gonna write out the main story just only developing parts.
