Ever since I was born all I have ever known was war. I've seen families torn apart, children turned into orphans, and wives turned into widows. Before I could even learn to say papa this war took my fathers life away from me. I am 16 years old, and the war is far from over. All my life I have felt this emptiness in my heart. Little did I know that a small note attached to a lantern would be exactly what I need to find closure. The note reads of a father missing his young daughter, and how he wishes to see her again. Maybe with the help of a young boy named Jamie, and emptiness in my heart I may just be able to give that little girl something no one can ever give to me. The reassurance that her father is alive.
