All her other siblings are either married, engaged or dating. Her mother Vanessa Chen makes sure Lucy doesn't forget her non existence love life. Lucy knows her mother means well, but it sometimes bugs her. Lucy loves her job, and she usually drowns herself to work to not return to the empty apartment. Another reminder that she is single. It's not that she would mind being single, but she can't help wondering if someday it will be her turn to meet someone either. So after one extremely hard day at work when she is back to her lonely apartment she decides "fuck it" and sings up to this blind date thing. How bad could it be?
