There is so little Lapamedot fanfic on here, so this is my contribution!

What if Lapis joined the Crystal Gems sooner? What if she made a special connection with Pearl? This fan fiction is set during the final season of Steven Universe essentially starting from 'Can't Go Back'. This story will contain mature content and explicit smut in future chapters. Spoilers ahead!

Deana Carter has always been superstitious and cynical. She's always waiting for the other shoe to drop and expecting the inevitable - disappointment. So, when she meets Matthew Stewart, she can't help her cynicism. It's all too good to be true. However, she begins to warm up to the thoughts of happily ever after . . . until she's standing alone in the wedding chapel - an abandoned bride. She quickly curls back into her dark jaded hole of negativity and becomes caustic, putting all her energy and thoughts into her work. Then, news about the merger comes to light. Her company is merging with the top graphic design company in the country. She doesn't put much thought to it and immerses herself in her work even more. And then she meets Jeremy Harrington . . . . .

Pearl is just an average girl. Sickeningly average. Will one mysterious figure from the sea change that? WARNING: I have mental illnesses that fiddle with my motivation so the upload schedule is very messy. Sorry

She recently moved to Beach City, because she heard there was someone like her there. What she didn't know was that she would gain a crush on a certain fusion. Garnet has been a mother figure to (Y/N) since she was born, and hasn't seen her since Steven was born. Garnet won't help (Y/N) out at all with this crushy stuff. Secretly,(Y/N) has been depressed, and suicidal. What will Atlantisite do when she finds out. 1 year earlier, Amethyst and Peridot finally admitted their feelings toward each other. They then accidentally fused and became Atlantisite. Later they decided that they were going to stay fused as Atlantisite forever. Then 1 year later a girl named (Y/N) came to Beach City. Warning: I may crush your feels.

After an unexpected meeting, Pearl finds herself a party, and Lapis find herself a Pearl

It's not like Lapis meant to lure a bunch of sharks into the Diamond's palace. But the Diamonds weren't exactly prone to listening to the young mermaid. Her tail is split, into what human's called legs, her gills and fins are gone. And she's banished from the one thing she loves: the sea. Adaption to a human's life seems impossible. But when a ballet dancer offers help. Things deemed impossible become much more possible to Lapis; things like love. I give credit to youmie-chan on Tumblr. As this is their au, just making a story for them. Steven Universe doesn't belong to me. Let's hope it stays that way.

I am going to be starting a new story, this will be updated more often and faster then my other stories. This so far will be safe for work, if I ever decide to add a NSFW chapter sometime later on, I will edit the book to be mature content. For now it will be cheesy romance. This will be a human AU. i do not own the artwork for the cover image, that's how I perceive Lapis and Pearl as humans, so that's how I want them perceived in this story, HOWEVER feel free to imaging your own headcanon for them, even as their normal gem forms if you wish. I haven't decided if I'll make the characters bi/pan/gay yet but I might decide with fan comments. What if Pearl knew Lapis was inside the mirror? What if she was the reason her gem broke? Why else would she give it to Steven? Why else would she be so shocked to see Lapis?
