Lapis wants to get Peridot's attention, and watches Camp Pining Hearts with her to get it. What a big mistake that was.

Peridot has already started school off on the wrong foot and her half brother Jasper hates her. Lapis Lazuli loves the ocean and everything to do with it. These two highschool students meet and things start to look up for Peridot. The art does not belong to me except for the cover.

When Peridot is flying to fix the warp station between Homeworld and Earth she comes into contact with Lapis Lazuli when she's flying home. Lapis joins Peridot on the ship and a begrudging friendship blooms, but when duty calls what will happen to these two pinning hearts. NOTE: these characters do NOT belong to me. Sometimes I feel like writing lapidot and bam. This'll be a book full of one-shots. Updates will vary a lot, so be ready for that. Please note I have no idea how to write romance, since I'm not really used to fanfiction in general. So please tell me if I make a mistake, for example if I get a character's personality wrong. Art on cover made by me! Some of these stories might even be turned into a full on fanfiction, dudes. Just tell me if you want it to be that way. im so sorry for not publishing for so long but im back now.

This is only book 1 of many look for updates as soon as I get them done.

I am a writer, but this is my first fan fic. Lapidot is my otp, so i wanted to write one focused on them. Then I had this idea for an episode. i posted my idea to amino and tons of people replied asking this to be made into a fan fic. i like fics that are plausible in the canon, so i tried to write this as "realistically" as possible in the show's canon, therefore the lapidot isnt explicitly romantic, but it has tons of implications and CUTE moments that i would love to see in the show's canon. It takes place a month after Reunited, and i dont know what will happen yet after Legs from Here to Homeworld, so theres little to no mention of Steven's homeworld adventure. I might edit this after the whole white diamond arc ends to be more acurate. I hope you enjoy!

Now that school is almost over, their relationship is looking to take another direction as Lapis notices new feelings for her best bud. This story will be the same as "My Best Friend Lapis", just told from Lapis' POV.

The last names are gonna be weird kay Lapis Lazuli is a girl who loves the ocean. She's a cool kid at Beach City High, mostly because of her overprotective jerk girlfriend. On the first day the new girl bumps into her, and she might have found something she loves more than the ocean. Peridot Facet is the new kid at Beach City High. She hopes that this won't be like the last school and the school before that. She's had many experiences with bullies. On the first day she bumps into the coolest girl in school, and knows that she's found true love
