What if Lapis joined the Crystal Gems sooner? What if she made a special connection with Pearl? This fan fiction is set during the final season of Steven Universe essentially starting from 'Can't Go Back'. This story will contain mature content and explicit smut in future chapters. Spoilers ahead!

Onyx, the messenger and retriever of information as well as a negotiator for all the Diamonds. was tasked to fly with Jasper, Peridot, and Lapis to stomp out the rest of the crystal gems. However upon meeting Steven, Onyx has a change of heart and realizes why he volunteered to go with Lapis. Author: I absolutely adore Lapis's character and feel like some writers write her way too happy for what she's gone through. So I decided to take up this small project and hopefully write Lapis convincingly.

It's been nearly a year since Steven set off on a journey across the country, fully committed to therapy to address his emotional struggles and rediscover himself. During this time, he hasn't seen his loved ones in person, and the longing to reunite with them-to share a warm embrace, recount his adventures, and reveal all he's learned-has grown stronger with each passing day. So, when his therapist finally discharges him, Steven decides it's time to return to his hometown, Beach City. He's not the same person who left, though. Gone is the boy who always put others first, no matter the cost to himself. He's learned the importance of self-care, realizing that he's not obligated to save the world at the expense of himself, that his happiness and health are just as important as anyone else's. Yet, just as he begins to reconnect with his old life, disaster strikes. Homeworld is attacked, Gems on Earth start to mysteriously disappear, and old enemies return seeking revenge. Now, caught between his desire for a peaceful life and the responsibilities of his past role as a savior of the universe, Steven must find a way to reconcile his newfound perspective with the demands of protecting those he cares about.

Season 2 After gaining a lot of trouble with Jasper and her friends, Pearl looses her mind. She wakes up in a train, not knowing where to go. In another town she meets Lapis Lazuli and her friends. They soon become a little family and Pearl slowly gets her memories back. Lapis wants to have more then friendship between Pearl and herself, but Pearl wants to meet the girl named Garnet, that often appears in her coming back memories. Will she get Garnet back? Or will her love forever be lost?

She sat exactly where the gems sat the day we went to the moon base, that day was ages ago. Many has happened since then, me and Peridot beat the cluster, the invasion of the rubies. Huh. Peridot has starting to feel strange around Steven. She has a idea of it but everything else she know about it is like a blank slate. Steven wants to admit his feelings to Connie, but then he has been noticing the occasional fast heartbeats, the craving for being around her. He has been noticing the things he felt to Connie but this time to Peridot. Will everything be okay, will stress keep dumping on Steven? Well. The greatest breakout on Earth! Lapis Lazuli has loved circuses and carnivals ever since she was a baby. But a birthday trip to the Diamond Sisters' Circus takes a dramatic turn when the circus owner kidnaps the young girl. Now, Lapis is held as a working prisoner and cannot leave the fairgrounds. Her only chance of escape is to ally herself with some of the circus workers, but Lapis only has until the end of the week or else she'll never see her parents again.

Sand was...so different when it wasn't submerged in water. It took on a whole new life. Dry, wet, or fully submerged, sand operated differently, depending on the circumstances around it. So many things on this planet seemed to do this - change, transform - and there were so many opportunities for them to do so.
