There is only so much time until the invasion starts, so Homeworld has been mass producing gems from there kindergartens. But a special kindergarten gem takes the stage, and realizes her world was about to change forever.

Peace isn't easily achievable, especially when you expect thousands of gems to obey the whim of a human child who possessed the gem of a diamond. A lot of gems didn't accept this, and so they rebelled. And this is where our protagonist comes in, travelling space to do some damage control as the rebels who seek the former glory of the gems, colonizing planets, destroying life and overall being a menace.

Steven believed bringing Pearl and Lapis together to start teaching at the Gem school was a good idea. Maybe it was. What no one anticipated was the quiet tension that would begin to grow between them: lingering glances, sudden distance, the feeling that something had shifted without either of them saying it out loud. Pearl wants to do what's right. Lapis wants answers. And both of them are about to discover that some things can't be organized... or avoided.

The gem war, this started everything. The rebellions in home world, the sudden disappearance of other gems, It was a disaster.But they designed a Lapis gem, but not any other Lapis gem. This Lapis was designed to be better than the other Lapis gems, she was the only one that could manipulate water. She was a war machine, but that wasn't long until she was trapped, she wanted to go home, but there was nothing she could do.
