Jasper and lapis escape earth and make it back to homeworld but lapis is labled a traitor and is sentanced to be broken, but instead fleas to earth where she accidentally fuses with Peridot, starting sn everlasting love between them

Peridot could not be more nervous when she went off to college to study robotics, chemistry, biology... "that smart stuff", as her friend Jasper calls it. She's pretty tiny and a clean freak, and she didn't want a roommate, but here she was. Lapis, on the other hand, figures she can just blow through college and pursue the arts. Music, painting... heck, maybe even being a swim coach would work out for her. As she begins to walk up the stairs to her dorm building, she wonders what her roommate would be like. Hopefully not OCD like Pearl, her sister. That was a nightmare.
