Lara has arrived on a mysterious island while she is on her way back home. She arrives when a thunderstorm suddenly appears on the horizon causing the boat to go off course and crash on this island. As she pulls her self out of the wreckage she suddenly becomes aware of her scenario.

Lara and Jacob are finally recovering from the attacks of trinity, gathering their loses and Jacob's people, the wounded are being tended to and they are seeking shelter Amin whatever is left of the village they bombed to hell. Lara is feeling conflicted about letting her father's bad reputation not get fixed but also wanting to keep the people of this native land protected and keep most of all trinity away from the divine source. Jacob is merely worried about his people and keeping them afloat after taking hefty blows especially his daughter but maybe if he can comfort Lara and remind each other of the things that make us human it can continue the beacon of hope that the bad guys won't yet again steal old cursed things that they don't understand and enlighten Lara to understand that sometimes it's ok to stop and take in the things around you and the people you love most are sometimes just enough. Lara Croft has to find an artifact to potentially understand what happened to her mother . A swamp had it all.

This is my ranking of the first Tomb Raider game. Tomb Raider One was released in 1996. It features 15 levels where Lara visits Peru, Greece, Egypt, and Atlantis. The artifact she is searching for is called the Scion.
