This is a story about a girl, she had once been an Opera singer in America, she traveled around Milan, Italy, and Poland with said job. In Poland she became the lover of Wilhelm Gottsreich Sigismond von Ormstein, Grand Duke of Cassel-Felstein and King of Bohemia. When the King returned to Prague, the girl, now in her late twenties, moved to London. There she had met the most interesting people, and retired from Opera singing, she became a dominatrix and kept many pictures to protect herself from prison, and execution. But no matter how interesting of a person she met, or what they might have done to impress her, she was never impressed. She was very witty and resourceful, and every man across the known galaxy wanted to meet her, and of course, very few ever did. This is the story of Irene Adler, and this is just only the beginning. No characters from Sherlock or Doctor Who are mine, they belong to BBC and... Steven Moffat who I will kidnap o.e for killing off my beautiful Matt Smith even if it was Matt's choice. Love was what he needed most, but it was also his biggest fear. | A mysterious case about a stolen piece of art, quickly blossoms into a romance between the detective and his client. Upon taking the case, Sherlock Holmes becomes overwhelmed with an impulsive desire for his client Felicia Winters, who is a striking image of one Irene Adler a.k.a. The Woman. However, John Watson soon becomes suspicious of Felicia, considering Sherlock's odd behaviour when he was around her and Sherlock soon realizes she is not who he thought she was... Or was she? Hours after John leaves Sherlock's grave he gets another visitor. One he doesn't recognise at first.

A week after Sherlock Holmes takes John Watson's advice, he finds himself on the edge of his bed with the company of a puzzle that is Irene Adler. Through the window where the light enters and floods the room, lies the world that has never felt so distant for him. His senses were heightened but limited to what only matters to him at this shared fraction of time; with his walls down, he stays in bed and lets her win a new round of a new game they don't realize they started playing.
